Harper James Solicitors has supported HR tech disruptors SonicJobs with the launch of their game-changing new mobile app. SonicJobs has created job search 2.0: the first mobile in-app job search tool which is quickly transforming how people can find the perfect vacancy. For many years, candidates who have been redirected from job boards to employer career pages have found the process infuriating and irksome – so much so that research indicates many simply just abandon applications altogether. But SonicJobs’ new app is solving this issue by creating a seamless mobile experience for its hundreds of thousands of candidates to access.

SonicJobs, based in London, launched in 2017, and has raised around £2.1m in funding. Over the past three years, it has grown rapidly and is now the leading app for people looking for jobs in sectors like warehousing, driving and healthcare.
They have found success by building industry-changing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and chatbot technology that reads the employer’s application process for each vacancy. Employers using SonicJobs have seen a 23% click-to-completed-apply conversion vs 4.1% click-to-completed-apply average market conversion. SonicJobs is planning to expand into the US next year and are also hoping to secure new, Series A funding, by spring. The plan is very much to accelerate.
‘We currently have over 370,000 candidates on board and want to have more than one million candidates on board within the next 18 months,’ Mikhil said. ‘It is a big target, but we are determined to achieve it. This app is a big new part of that journey. But we also want to move into the American market next year, where we believe there will be a huge demand and a lot of interest in what SonicJobs can offer employers and recruiters.’
