Ruairi Willis
Trainee Solicitor
Ruairi Willis is a second-year trainee solicitor. He is currently with the Intellectual Property team in his third seat.
Ruairi joined the firm in February 2021 as one of our legal assistants based in our Birmingham office where he helped solicitors and clients across a wide variety of practice areas.
Ruairi studied an LLM in International Business Law obtaining a Distinction at Queen’s University Belfast. Prior to this, he studied International Relations at Undergraduate and Master’s level at Aberystwyth University. Furthermore, he studied the GDL and LPC at BPP in London. During his university studies, he has international experience working within the automotive industry and volunteering at the Citizens Advice Bureau.
Away from the office, Ruairi is a keen cricketer who is a MCC playing member and previously represented Ireland at age group level. He enjoys Golf and especially watching Ulster play rugby.
