Which legal services are included in the Enterprise plan?

Our Enterprise service is designed to meet the most common commercial legal needs of the majority of businesses, focusing on the specific challenges and experiences of SMEs and start ups. We’ve set out below a high level summary of the type of legal service that are included in our Enterprise service. If your business needs support on matters not included in the service, then you’d receive a 25% discount on our standard City hourly rates.

From the creation and obligations of agency, through the liability of agent and principal to the termination of agency.

All routine commercial contracts, such as service level agreements, terms of business, guarantees, distribution agreements, IT and technology related agreements.

Advice from legal structures through the law relating to articles of association to corporate personality, director and officer responsibilities, Enterprise Act 2002, Bribery Act 2010.

Generic advice and guidance on data protection compliance.

General guidance and assistance with the majority contractual disputes relating to general commercial matters, up to the point proceedings are issued.

Advice on business debts and their recovery, the effect of charges and security and charging interest on late payment.

Implementing and administering EMI option schemes.

Assistance with all routine, non contentious, day to day employment matters including things such as: (a) recruitment compliance; (b) the review, amendment, drafting and completion of employment contracts and staff handbooks; (c) absence and leave; (d) grievance and disciplinary action; and (e) dismissal process and resignations.

Business re-organisations, joint ventures, business sales, mergers, acquisitions and investments up to £500,000 in value.

Confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, and generic advice on copyright, designs, patents, and trade marks.

General advice on duty of care, occupiers liability, accidents at work, breach of statutory duties, contributory negligence and causation.

General advice on advertising law through to sales literature and online trading to distance selling.

Offer and acceptance, formalities of contract, duty to pass good title, protection for third parties, breach of warranty.
